Jimmy Brown the Newsboy - Flatt and Scruggs
Earl Scruggs is the great innovator and master of the 5-string banjo; but many do not know that he was (is) also excellent on the guitar. This song, Jimmy Brown the Newsboy, features Earl on lead guitar. Earl said that he learned a lot about guitar from his friend and neighbor, Mama Maybelle Carter.
